In this short tutorial video I use simple willow chacoal sticks of charcoal in my drawing skills to create a really simple yet effective tree. Using an Coates charcoal willow sticks or similar, you can draw with lines this lovely creation. Use overlapping lines, blending, smudging and a little bit of mark making you can easily craft this effective drawing. The trick is to use the charcoal to create a variety of different marks depending on which bit of it you use. The technique is simple, just follow me and you will be able to make it too.
