I'm excited to invite you to my Famous Artist Online Art, where in our October workshop, we’ll be exploring the whimsical and bold world of Yayoi Kusama! 🍄🎨
On Thursday, 10th October from 10 am - 12 pm, we’ll dive into Kusama’s fascination with mushrooms and create vibrant, collage-style pieces inspired by her signature playful patterns and colours.
Workshop Details:

💻 Where: Zoom (you’ll receive the link after booking or in your Hub membership area)

For this class, you’ll need:
Bright paper for collage
Glue
Scissors
Coloured pens
Kusama is famous for her repeated patterns, especially polka dots, and her fascination with organic forms like mushrooms and pumpkins. We’ll explore her colourful world, creating our own bold mushroom designs with layers of bright, fun collage materials!
Who is Yayoi Kusama?
🍄Yayoi Kusama is one of the most iconic contemporary artists, known for her infinity rooms, bright polka dots, and obsession with repetitive patterns.
🍄She started using dots and patterns from a young age, inspired by vivid hallucinations she had as a child, often involving fields of mushrooms!
🍄Her artwork spans paintings, sculptures, and immersive installations, often focusing on ideas of infinity and interconnectedness.
