Get a kit that is small, effective but very portable…..

Think about this….you’ve gathered your materials together, you’re ready to sketch but then you get there, open your bag…and your paint has leaked all over your bag…..NOOOOO!

So you need to choose really easy materials to transport and use.

1. A pencil: HB with a retractable lead and a rubber means you don’t need. Separate sharpener or rubber

2. A biro: a waterproof pen for sketching or outlining or making notes

3. Paper: A small wire-bound sketchpad or notebook so you can turn the pages right over and work on the ‘flat’.

4. A water reservoir brush pen : means you can have a wet brush without the faff of a container with water in it

5. Watercolour pencils: An excellent hybrid material for painting or drawing
